Tater Town Day 2011...:)

Every year we take Chloe Jo downtown to the Tater Town Special.  Boy, this one was a hot one!  I really appreciate all the Gazelles hard work to make a fun day for the people here in Gleason.  We always see old friends and enjoy our "small town USA" parade. 

Soaking up some shade:)  Chloe Jo wore her orange hat for Gleason today!  This was a compromise on her behalf...it was not her first choice!  She put on the big pink 10-gallon hat that her daddy bought her.  I told David I would not be attending and riding the Ranger around and her in that Big Ole hat.  haha

Enjoying some candy with Mary Ellen...having their own little candy picnic in the partly shaded area:)  I laughed because I threw the candy cigarettes in Mary Ellen's bag instead of Chloe Jo's.  What do you think they pulled out???!!!  haha  I couldn't bring myself to make a pic!  

This year...we got LOTS OF CANDY...a lei...candy cigarettes...and my favorite thing they threw out was Sqwincher Electrolyte Replacement Mix.  heehee
